Succour to COVID19 – orphaned students (boys and girls) from Prashanthi Bala Mandira Trust (PBMT), Muddenahalli, Chikballapur dist, Karnataka.
PBMT is offering support to COVID pandemic affected students, who have lost one or both parents, especially the breadwinner. Such orphaned students who need support in this hour of grief would be offered residential education completely free of cost in the Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Gurukulam group of educational institutions (SSSLSG), from 6th to 12th Grade, provided they fulfil the necessary requirements. SSSLSG has multiple campuses spread allover Karnataka and admission may be granted in any one of the campuses. All these campuses impart education under NIOS – National Institute of Open Schooling.
Even for those students who do not qualify for admission into SSSLSG or do not want to join SSSLSG, PBMT will offer a scholarship of Rupees 20,000 per year, if they continue their studies in institutions outside. Even University students who are COVID orphaned can apply for this scholarship.
